Our walking service – how we work

Pick-up (Dogtastic bus)

We will pick up your dog from your home or an agreed location – with a Dogtastic bus specially equipped for dogs.

Walk in a small group

Wir führen unsere Spaziergänge bewusst in kleinen Gruppen von 3 to a maximum of 5 dogs durch.

Hunde reagieren aufeinander – und auf ihre Umwelt. Ein plötzlich auftauchendes Reh, ein freilaufender Hund oder ein unerwarteter Reiz können eine Gruppe innert Sekunden in Bewegung versetzen.

Je grösser eine Gruppe wird, desto anspruchsvoller werden Dynamik und Kontrolle – und desto schwieriger wird es, den Überblick zu behalten.

Mit maximal fünf Hunden kann eine Begleitperson jedes Tier im Blick behalten, frühzeitig eingreifen und die Gruppe ruhig und souverän führen.

Grössere Gruppen mögen organisatorisch einfacher und kostengünstiger sein. Für uns jedoch steht die Sicherheit der Hunde an erster Stelle.

FAQ

We organise groups of between 3 and a maximum of 5 dogs. This ensures that the groups remain manageable, safe and appropriate for the dogs’ needs.

The walking service operates on weekdays (Monday to Friday), between 10:00 and 12:00.

Your dog is collected from your home within the agreed time window using our specially adapted Dogtastic bus and is returned safely after the walk.

Yes. Before a dog joins the service on a regular basis, an introductory walk is carried out. This costs CHF 35.- and is fully credited when an abonnement is taken out. This allows us to ensure that your dog feels comfortable and integrates well into the group.

The walking service is primarily intended for sociable dogs who are comfortable in a small group. Each dog’s suitability is assessed individually during the introductory meeting.

In this case, we will discuss suitable alternatives with you or recommend a different form of care. It is important that the solution is appropriate for both your dog and the group.

Your dog will be placed on a waiting list. As soon as at least three compatible dogs are available for the chosen day, we will contact you and start the walking service.

Our abonnements are flexibly valid and are not subject to a fixed expiry date. Unused walks do not expire and can be taken at a later date by arrangement.

The walking service generally takes place even in rainy conditions. In the event of extreme weather, we adapt the duration and structure of the walk or exceptionally cancel a session, always prioritising the safety and well-being of the dogs.

The dogs are divided into carefully selected groups of 3 to a maximum of 5 dogs on the move. The pace, duration and composition are tailored to the dogs' needs.

Was passiert, wenn mein Hund nicht in eine Gruppe passt?
